Il y a quelques semaines, le quatuor rock américain annonçait qu’il mettait la touche finale à son nouvel album. Maintenant il s’est doté d’une date de sortie, à savoir le 27 octobre prochain.
Le groupe est entré en studio en novembre dernier pour enregistrer ce nouvel opus qui succédera à Weezer, aussi nommé The Red Album, lancé en juin 2008. Jacknife Lee (U2, REM, Bloc Party) produirait ce nouvel opus.
Baptisé de manière officieuse Raditude, ce septième disque a déjà été devancé par un single emballant, intitulé « (If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To ». Il doit sortir officiellement à la fin du mois d’août, mais il est depuis quelques jours dispo sur YouTube.
